Okay, so I am running 2 generators. They are the Onan Cummins that allow you to make 50 amps of service. My trailer is now wired for 50 amps…but I can’t find a receptacle that will work with the plug that was provided in order to run the two in parallel. What am I missing?

I am looking for a pet monitor for our RV that uses Wifi instead of cellular. We alread have a TravlFi operating off cellular to provide the WiFi signal and I see no poinjt in a second subscription unless it is absolutely necessary. Also, seems like if you are off grid using a startlink of other sattelite link, that would be a better connection than cellular.
Haven't received the email yet but seeing this on social media. Instead of pausing your subscription you can choose an emergency services mode for $5/month.
Looks like Gen3's are on sale for $175 for anyone looking. Already have one...just a FYI.
Okay folks, as some may recall, a few months ago I had a GMG pellet hopper fire which killed my GMG Daniel Boone by overfilling the hopper which caused the lid to remain up. Curious which plan to go with, personal vs. business. What's your experience? For example, my mini I could go with Local priority over the consumer plan, $15/mo more but better connectivity? For my business, etc. it's worth having, just want opinions before I make any changes. My Gen3 will be my primary, but for now I was just looking at the mini as I'm going to be putting that to use to test it out soon.

My coach is stored in a garage with 50A power, but not at my home.
I turned off the inverters and left what I believe is the battery charger on, pic attached best I could get without removing the guard that is inplace .
My question is should I leave the charger running 24/7 or if it's going to be stored for a few weeks should I turn it off ?
I hit the battery disconnect switch that is above the entry door, just not sure if that turns off house and chassis batteries or one or the other.

I'm creating a separate thread I started in another discussion so we can discuss this topic and focus on this specific theory. I'm seeing some believe that 80% SOC is where you should store your "active" LiFePO4 batteries, which is probably coming from the Apple world of iPhone battery management (which are NOT LiFePO4 batteries). This may be true if you physically remove and store your battery in a controlled environment. I'm not sure it's true for a battery that remains connected in a RV...

I have an Onan 5.5kW Marquis Gold (HGJAB series) in my 202 WB Class A. The generator runs just fine when parked. But, when I try to run it while traveling, for example to run a rooftop air conditioner in hot weather), it will only run for a few minutes then it quits. On my in-coach display it shows error code 36. That's not very useful - the Onan owner's manual says to check the fuel level (it feeds from the coach 80 gallon tank), the spark plug (would not run stationary if spark plug...

Hi. My brother, who lives in Europe, is looking to buy a motorhome there, and found one that has a Timberline Diesel heating. Timberline is apparently relatively rare in Europe, and he asked me if those heaters are reliable and work well. I honestly have no idea as my RV does not use Timberline. So, if you are inclined to do so, and have some experience with Timberline heaters, can you share some thoughts?

I have a 2004 Beaver Monterey. We service our Hydro Hot system yearly. We do live in our motorhome. Our hydro hot system recently is acting kinda crazy. When we turn the switch on in the motorhome the burner will not ignite and the stir pump will not start. All the lights are green on the panel, like everything is fine. If you touch and knock around some it will all start and work great, but will not re-cycle when needed. We do turn it off and on daily so thinking maybe a switch or...
Our Dutchstar has the factory optional LiFePo package. The BIM seems to charge at 13.x volts rather than the expect 14.2V. Also, the BIM remains Bridged when on shore power, but doesn't appear to Bridge/charge house batteries by engine alternator when engine is running.

We connected again with an old friend at Clear Water Cove on Tim’s Ford Lake. This was a trip to visit family and Billy came and camped next to us for the week end. Plugged in at home to 50 amp service as normal, AC set to 80F. Heard an odd sound coming from the rear AC unit, sounded like something "flapping".
As I was climbing the ladder up to the roof a piece of something came shooting out thru one of the vents in the cover. Looks like a piece of masking tape to me.
Opened the cover and inspected and found one additional piece inside the squirrel cage. Nothing else...
