We have no heat from the engine when driving
husband has checked the basics. How would you heat with an external room heater or any suggestions? Class A 2007 Phaeton
thanks

Not sure what you mean by external rom. What is your engine temperature? Is the fan blowing cold air? If water temp is normal I would start looking at the diverters that control how the air is distributes air to vents and between heat and A/C. When it is really cold and we are running down the road we will run our front furnace and close the doors to the bathroom and bedroom. If you use electric heat you may have to run the generator as those heaters draw a lot of power.

I assume you have an oasis or aquahot system. It is supposed to take heat from the engine and heat the cabin. There are zone valves and circulators involved etc that must be checked. A complicated system for sure.
