Questions. recommendation on a brand of a 12 volt refrigerator, would it be worth trying to convert the space to accommodate a propane refrigerator? I need something that will last more than 14 months.
Any suggestions as to where I can get parts? Everchill Mod # WD 282FWDC-6
Purchased a forest river hemisphere (11/21) and it has been a nightmare of problems from the very beginning.
My latest problem is the refrigerator freezing. When I removed the back panel the coil was frozen and the connection to the heating element is scorched. No fuses are blown. When I called Lippert which is the new owner of Everchill the response was "its out of warranty" and that I should just buy a new one.
I am trying to trouble shoot the refrigerator to determine if the heating element is bad, or the thermal switch.
Any help or suggestion are greatly appreciated
