2 nights ago the furnace started making an awful, loud, grinding sound. I shut it off and we made do with space heaters that night. The next day I pulled it all apart and found a mouse had crawled into the fan and got totally crushed. No wonder it was making such a sound, the fan was completely off-balance. I took the cover off, got the mouse out, cleaned it the best I could, and put everything back together.
It wouldn't start.

I watched a bunch of videos about testing the control board and pulled it out, tried testing things, then went to turn it back on. It turned on immediately!

Then that night it started blowing cold before shutting off. Now, again, it won't turn on at all.

I've very confused that it would work, then wouldn't, then would, then wouldn't, etc. Should I just consider it a bad board and buy a replacement, or could I be looking at something else?
