It was mentioned in another forum that the 2025 Newmar announcement/annual meeting was not that successful!
Initial DEALER ORDERS were way down, and no where near close to the previous2-3 years!
As the President, Casey Tubman better get quite creative as to pricing, special deals, and stress QUALITY! These new prices are pushing a lot of potential buyers right out of the market.
Saw where a Bay Star Sport 27' coach was now right at @200,000, a Ventana @ $500,000, and a Dutch Star @$700,000+ WOW....Where does it end??
We paid $86,000 for a new 2702 baystar sport back in 2015 ,who would think it could get this ridiculous.
 
The only thing Newmar is guilty of is quality issues! How did you all think wars get paid for? Let alone stimulus packages!!! There is more but when the economy suffers inflation increases!

At least blame the right people when the workers have to take a hit!!!
 
The factory had cut down the work week a while back. The next option was layoffs. It seems, going by some folks theory that COVID coaches exist, this would make any coach being built this year, superior.
 
Not just Newmar, NAPA Auto 2 weeks ago "retired" 150 warehouse managers and other senior level managers. Eliminated positions, etc. NAPA support staff for it's dealers as shrunken probably 75% in the last 2 years. No more factory reps and may as well not have a dealer rep as I have not talked to one in nearly 2 years. Changed their warranty process to where in more or less comes out of dealers pocket. Instead of NAPA covering the warranty cost, they now give us a very small ( and I mean like .5 to 1% of cost) fraction of cost to handle the warranties. Doesn't come anywhere close to cost of warranties. Makes for bad customer relations at times. Overall sales for most stores are down 15% to 30% for the year. And cost of goods have sky rocketed.
Manufacturing plant ( refurbishes railroad car wheels) here just laid off nearly 1/2 of their work staff ( nearly 200 people). Lots of others have cut hours to 30 hours max.
