Hello, new to this site, in fact, first site I've ever registered on. Recently purchased a 2022 Open Range 379FBS, plan on living in the RV in the Southwest, hopefully before September 1st. We are waiting for our dealer to finish the warranty issues before we pick it up.

Hello, new to this site, in fact, first site I've ever registered on. Recently purchased a 2022 Open Range 379FBS, plan on living in the RV in the Southwest, hopefully before September 1st. We are waiting for our dealer to finish the warranty issues before we pick it up.
Hmm, not sure where to start. Tried to pick up our new RV from Camping World in Saukville WI in September, 2023. None of the issues we reported at the time of purchase were corrected. The door still didn't close right, the main air conditioner was noisy, the TPMS sensors we ordered were incorrect to name a few. We did not take delivery of the RV at this time. As a matter of fact, we ended up traversing to Saukville 3 more times before finally being able to pick up our RV. The Sales experience was quick and we appreciate what they did, but trying to get the warranty items covered before relocation was a nightmare. Below are some of the issues we had.
1) Main A/C unit was noisy, after 3 trips to dealer was finally fixed, they found loose wire by fan that eventually would have shorted out.
2) Door will not close properly. They replaced the locking mechanism which seemed to fix the issue, we have discovered since then, it has not. This seems to be a leveling issue, if the RV settles then we have problems with the door closing easily again and the RV must be releveled.
3) Dealer broke ice maker on refrigerator. Claims they put too much pressure on water lines and broke the connection, turned off water connection. They told us they were going to call Whirlpool to schedule a technician to fix it (two of us were there when we were told this), they never called and have since said it was our responsibility to take care of it, even though they broke it. Since then we have contacted Whirlpool and unfortunately CANNOT find a service technician that will attempt to fix a residential refrigerator in an RV.
4) Passenger side fender - hole used to lower spare tire on RV is misaligned, need new skirting on passenger side, ordered by dealer.
5) Discovered Hot water lines to front bath, hooked up correctly for shower, but toilet and bathroom sink reversed. Service technician corrected while working on furnace, determined now hot and cold water for Washer connection will be reversed. Service Tech from Camping World fixed when installing warranty sliding door to bedroom on site at RV Park in Milwaukee, WI.
6) First Furnace use Furnace melted plastic fan, had to rely on fireplace and small portable heater for RV. This occurred in Milwaukee, WI at State Fair RV Park. Service Tech that checked it out stated furnace bad and needed to be replaced. We were traveling to the Southwest via I94 and we were instructed to take the RV to Camping World in Eau Claire, WI for the furnace issue. Unfortunately, we spent a full day while the technicians tried to trouble-shoot the furnace issue, which we thought they fixed, but didn't. Turns out, after arriving in the Southwest, after 2 service calls we paid for, the manufacturer used the WRONG fuse in the furnace. They inserted a 15 amp fuse and it should have been a 20 amp fuse, problem rsolved. (Not sure why Camping World didn't investigate this first without removing the furnace from the RV. When they re-installed, they DID NOT reconnect all the ductwork.)

We have learned that most of these repairs, while covered under warranty could have been performed by Camping World. However, we are 150 miles from any Camping World and cannot drop our RV off to have them work on it for an undetermined amount of time.

Overall we are happy with the RV.

Sorry to hear about the issues with your 2022 Open Range 379FBS. Hope all will be fixed/taken care of to your satisfaction.
