I'm looking at a new Red 340 or 360 in the short 33 floorplan. Due to it's short wheelbase, which is less than 50% of it's overall length, a few reviews reported steering issues, such as lane wandering and tail wagging. I would like to think Tiffin would address the issue if it's significant. Perhaps it's a issue of cargo loading as the new one I drove was fine, but it was empty - no gear, no water, low fuel. Any insights from you owners would be appreciated.

I added a Safety Plus steering stabilizer to my RED. I had one on my 2019 Open Road 32 SA and it made a big difference. I added it on my RED 33AA 2021 before I even picked up my coach.

I just did a 6000 mile six week trip out west a few months ago and the coach handled just fine. Up mountains, down mountains, constant cross winds, passing semis and more.

Just MHO I would go with the 360 instead of the 340. There are A LOT of differences between the two models. Go over everything on your build sheet and compare the two.

I have the 33AA and have not had any handling issues and it is stock. As Headhunter said, I would really opt for the ISB with 360 HP and the Allison 3000 transmission as it has a higher towing capacity. And there are a lot of differences between the 340 and 360. But, that is just me.
