My camper, unloaded is 8500 lbs. I also have a golf cart, around 1000 lbs. I am considering a Ram 2500, long bed with 6.4 Hemi and 3.73 gear ratio. I am concerned about going up even the small hills. Thoughts or experiences?

I assume you have a 5th wheel.

I do well in the mountains with my 2014 with 3.73's but I do weller with my new truck with 4.10's. :) I tow 8800 lbs. with another 1500 in the bed.

That's what I was getting to, I want more information on the rig.
Shift points mean everything with gasser. Low gears limit high end. Tandem only legal with 5th. 1000lbs in bed with minimum tongue weight with tow behind trailers 10% loading???
