Question Do you consider showers/restrooms basic amenities? Or 'extras'?

Yep ... I sure don't see a sewer hook-up. I think the Romulans do that same thing ... :unsure:

My take is a bit different as I'm still shopping, thus far I've only been tent camping. I don't mind primative camping (I often prefer it) but I at least need to know where business needs to be deposited. Latrines are better than having to dig a hole but not much in the summer heat with everything fermenting. I can handle a shower every couple days, maybe longer if there's a lake to swim in to rinse away the major funk. I am mostly alone in this regard, my wife and a couple of the kids wouldn't tolerate not being able to shower every day and have proper facilities. This can often come with our tent next to a TT which means listening to an air conditioner throughout the night. Some aren't bad, some are quite annoying. For me, it really boils down to value and the tolerance level of those I'm taking camping.
